Getting started with Telos Accounts

Creating a new Telos Account is very simple and can be done on multiple platforms. We will take you step-by-step through the two methods most preferred by our community. 
Depending on which approach you follow (either Telos Native or Telos EVM) there is a few steps you need to follow.
Telos EVM
1.Install Metamask
Download Metamask at metamask.io/download​
2.Import the Telos EVM RPC
RPC URL : https://mainnet.telos.net/evm 
Chain Name : Telos EVM Mainnet 
Chain ID : 40 
Symbol : TLOS 
Block Explorer URL : https://teloscan.io
3.​Send TLOS to your account​
Follow our CEX, DEX, and Telos Native guides to send TLOS to your new Telos EVM account.
Telos Native
1.Get Anchor​
2.​Create a free account​
To use Anchor you will need to create a free account first.
You can import the account using its Private Key in Setup Account > Import > Private Key
3.​Send TLOS to your account​
Follow our CEX, DEX, and Telos Native guides to send TLOS to your new Telos account.
